Recently, I have had the pleasure of reviewing some of Southern Living's fabulous cookbooks. The latest being Southern Living's Home Cooking Basics. This cookbook is filled with tips, tutorials, and simple yet fabulous recipes. If you don't know which wine to pair with dinner, or need to know what spices to use with certain foods, this cookbook is for you. It is jam packed with do-able recipes for new cooks, and new ideas for the more seasoned cook as well.
Want to know the perfect way to cut an onion, what tools you really need in your kitchen, or how to choose the right cut of meat? All of these questions and so many more are answered in Southern Living's Home Cooking Basics...by far my new favorite cookbook!
The photography is amazing, and each recipe has detailed and easy to follow instructions!
I'll be making Big Daddy's Grilled Blue Cheese and Bacon Potato Salad for our next tailgate!

I have a cookbook collection and love cooking (when I'm in the mood that is - otherwise, it's up to my hubs)! Fingers crossed - that potato salad looks amazing - but isn't everything better with bacon?!
